I believe a designer’s role is to improve the world around them. As a designer I don’t want to add to the amount of ‘stuff’ on the market; I want to design products that will improve peoples lives and respect the environment. I appreciate the challenges that some projects present as I really enjoy problem solving, which allows me to discover new materials and processes that inspire me. I think it’s important to have an open conversation and a great amount of collaboration between different industry professionals, as I believe that is what allows a product to be truly successful.
