Baile Bag
bag designed by Arran Evans, graphic designed by Morleigh Steinberg and Lindsay Albert.
This shopping bag was designed for Tonic, who partner with designers to help global causes and communities. 20% of the profits made from the Baile Bag will go directly to supporting Kiva.org.
The bag was designed to allow the user to change its size depending on its use. When not expanded the bag resembles a ladies handbag and can be used for carrying small items. However, if the user finds they need more room they can simply unzip the bottom section without needing to remove the products already in the bag. Poppers near the top of the bag can also be closed to make the opening smaller and to keep the contents inside secure. The elastic on the side of the bag can be used to hold flowers or can be folded out of the way using the popper provided; and when not in use the bag can be rolled up and held with the elastic for storage.
