Cardboard Stools
This project explored the use of cardboard in the construction of a stool for children visiting the V&A museum.
This smaller stool was designed for younger children as it is small enough to allow them to carry it themselves, or when they get tired for it to be hooked onto the handles of a pushchair. Line drawings of current exhibited works are printed on the side so that the child can colour them in.
This larger stool was designed for older children. It would be given to them flat and they would have to follow directions to fold it into shape, The colour coded tabs would help them figure out how to fold it, as tabs with the same colour would fit together. It could be used as both a stool and a table.
