Musical Hooks
project by Jung Hee Kim, Roz Gregoire, Charlotte Jenkinson, Arran Evans
This project explored the use of electronics and the roll of reverse engineering to create quick prototypes.
The Musical Hooks were designed to try and encourage young children to have more responsibility over their belongings. The hooks play music whenever an item is put on or removed from them, to try and remind children not to forget items when leaving for school and to put their belongings away when they get home. It was made by hacking an electronic toy and using the relevant parts to create the sound needed.
